The Saint Vincent DePaul / Food Cupboard collects, manages and distributes food and necessary household items to those in need.
ST. AEDAN'S FOOD PANTRY ALERT! THANKSGIVING IS JUST A FEW WEEKS AWAY!
In these COVID-19 times, our parish needs your donations more than ever. As people will be gathering in smaller numbers, we ask for donations that reflect that need. We request 6 lb. Turkey Breasts and Turkeys no larger than 13 lbs. Roasting Chickens and Ground Beef / Pork Chops are also handy for homes with 2-3 persons. Baking, Sweet, Eastern potatoes and onions are needed, Pie crust mix, browning & muffin mix, too. Decaf and Reg Ground Coffee and Hot Chocolate mix, along with canned fruits and applesauce. Apple & Cranberry Juice, Spices, Ketchup, Salad Dressings, Vegetable / Canola Oil & aluminum foil all are needed. Even in difficult times please don't forget Ziploc bags for leftovers, napkins, paper towels, and toilet paper as always. As a "rule of thumb", if your family eats it, so do our client families. Shop-Rite / Stop & Shop Food Cards are always helpful. I encourage you to bring a bag each week when you come to Church. Help Us to Help Others.
PLEASE CALL THE ST. VINCENT de PAUL NUMBER 548-7734 TO ARRANGE FOR SOMEONE TO MEET YOU IF YOU HAVE A LARGE AMOUNT TO DONATE.
Food items in particular need are:
Popular items: tuna & mayonnaise; peanut butter & jelly; soups & crackers; chili; ravioli; Spaghetti O’s; ketchup & mustard, salad dressings.
Canned Fruits of all kinds.
Canned vegetables: White/Red/Black beans; canned white potatoes, etc.
