BOOK OPENED
Beginning, Wednesday, October 23rd, the 2023 Mass Book will be available for the scheduling of Announced Daily and Sunday Masses. [You are invited to come to the Parish Meeting Room between 9AM – 3 PM. We are sorry, but we are unable to schedule Masses over the telephone that day and cannot accept requests before the book is opened. Please, NO exceptions.]
Due to the popular demand for Announced Intentions, we ask for your cooperation by limiting your initial request to SIX MASSES per family only three of which may be on a Saturday evening. The requested stipend is $15 per Mass. Sunday Masses are also open for intentions and the requested stipend is $25 per Mass.
In fairness to all, The Sanctuary Lamp is limited to three requests per family. We will also be offering announced intentions for the Body and Blood of Christ. The intention will be for the entire week. If you have any questions, please, call the Rectory at 735-7405 during regular business hours. Sign-up sheet will be in this week’s Sunday bulletin.
Memorializing the Altar Wine & Hosts for Sunday and weekday Masses is also an option. The name of the person being memorialized will be printed in the Sunday bulletin each week just as we do for the Sanctuary Lamp.
9:00 am, 12:10 pm, 7:00 pm on the actual Holy Day
(We will no longer have the: 5:30 pm on the Eve (Vigil) of Holy Day, as of Nov 2022)
ASCENSION THURSDAY, May 18th
PARISH FAMILY MASS
Although we welcome everyone to the Family Mass, we would like you to know that at the 10 am Mass, the homilist will be presenting a more child friendly, interactive homily which will most often entail the younger children being invited to come forward and sit around the steps of the sanctuary throughout the homily. Additionally, each week, different families will be invited to bring up the Offertory Gifts of Bread and Wine at the appropriate time.
Those who prefer a more traditional Mass are, of course, welcome to attend the Saturday 5:30 pm Vigil Mass, or the Sunday 8 am, 12 noon Masses.
Regardless of which Mass you decide to attend, please remember to have our PREP students pause following Mass, to greet our priests/deacon to hand in their Mass cards. We greatly appreciate the patience and ongoing cooperation of our parents with this procedure.
Saint Aedan, pray for us!
