The Catholic Youth Organization (CYO) of St. Aedan’s is a community based ministry whose mission is to keep our youth active and involved in parish life through opportunities to participate in various sporting activities. We offer basketball in the Fall, Winter and Spring; cross country in the Fall; and track and field in the Spring.
Most of our programs are only open to our parishioners; although, CYO basketball allows three non-parishioners per team. If you would like to participate as a coach, you need to complete Safe Environment Background Forms and watch a video. There is refresher training every six years. Meetings are scheduled on an as needed basis in the Parish Hall.
Some of our achievements include a 2018 Cross County State Championship for girls grade 3-5; two Rockland County Basketball Championships in 2019; and four others in the last six years. In previous years we have hosted kickoff BBQs on the Church grounds.
If you are a youth interested in participating, or an adult interested in coaching - or helping - you may contact .... Brian Sullivan at [email protected]
